Beloved Broadway Dance Center faculty member, choreographer and dancer, Josh Widick, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2005 in his New York City apartment. He was a gifted and passionate instructor who taught jumps and turns, A.I. Flexibility and Strengthening, jazz and ballet at BDC.

Beloved Broadway Dance Center faculty member, choreographer and dancer, Josh Widick, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2005 in his New York City apartment. He was a gifted and passionate instructor who taught jumps and turns, A.I. Flexibility and Strengthening, jazz and ballet at BDC.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Josh moved to New York City and began studying extensively with Michèle Assaf, Kat Wildish and Jack Hertzog. He worked for BDC's Children & Teen Program and served as Ballet Master for Tracie Stanfield’s company, Synthesis Dance Project.
Josh soon became a well-known and respected name at BDC. His work ethic and witty humor was endearing to many staff and faculty members, and his attention to detail and technique gained him the respect of hundreds of students at the dance center.
Josh was an integral part of a close-knit BDC family, and will be greatly missed.
