Bridget Bose (she/they) is an internationally certified yoga instructor and professional working dancer in NYC. She has long been Amber Paul's assistant and sub at BDC, teaches yoga at various locations throughout NYC. She started as a work study at BDC front desk and has studied at BDC for over ten years. In 2011 she received her 200hr Instructor Certification for Vinyasa Flow Yoga from Three Sisters Yoga program in NYC. She teaches primarily Vinyasa Flow Yoga, which includes a combination of strength, flexibility, meditation and breath to create balance between mind, body, and spirit. Her classes feature hands on adjustments and often takes “requests” from her students to insure everyone gets the class that’s right for them. Bridget also draws from her dance and circus training to teach more challenging poses for those interested in a more advanced practice.
Bridget continues to study yoga at a variety of studios across NYC to create new content and keep class fresh for her students. Bridget started dancing at young age in Chicago and Colorado and went on to earn a BFA in Theatre and Dance from The University of Wyoming. Shortly after graduating attended The American Dance Festival which inspired her to move to NYC and pursue a professional career. She has since performed with multiple touring companies, held overseas contracts, performed in Broadway/Off-Broadway theatres and toured internationally. She starred in the circus show RED at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the international touring Bollywood show Mystic India, and the TV show Just Dance Live. She has performed at prestigious venues such as The Beacon Theatre, The Kennedy Center, and The Metroplitan Opera House, to name a few.
Bridget recently performed as a guest with American Ballet Theatre's production of Le Corsaire. In addition to teaching and performing, Bridget directs and produces the Off-Broadway dance variety show Guilty Pleasures Cabaret, which holds monthly shows in NYC and tours across the US and abroad.
