Dan likes to make sure that every student in his class leaves with something more than just “steps”. He wants to make sure that it’s not just a challenge for the body, but for the mind as well because that’s where the most growth happens. Class will consist of a full body warm up as well as a phrase of movement consisting of intricate rhythms and technique derived from jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Each student will have the opportunity to find their own artistic voice and focus on their own specific performance quality for on and off the stage. Dan believes in cultivating a safe space for artists who want to push their limits while also having fun and sharing energy and experiences within the community.
