If you are looking for a fun class, this is it! Jazz technique with a sassy, funky, performance edge. Students are encouraged to have fun by using their own personality and attitude while executing Debbie's stylish and relevant choreography.
Debbie helps students by giving corrections and teaching the importance of performance techniques for auditions - or just having fun being the best dancer you can be - which she has learned and used throughout her many years of auditioning, performing, and now choreographing.
Shoes recommended: Jazz shoes, Jazz sneakers, Character heels, or a lightweight sneaker
Debbie's fun, sassy style and dynamic choreography will encourage dancers to focus on musicality, acting and performance. Her choreography ranges from sharp, funky and hard-hitting to soft, groovy, and elegant, with a focus on clean lines and movement. This class will help dancers build confidence whether it's for themselves or for the stage and auditions. Shoes are mandatory.
Ever want to take a Heels class without Heels? This is the class for you! In Sultry Jazz Funk you will find sexy movements (no jazz technique required) and heels are completely optional.
