Jennifer Hamilton started dancing at age 4 in her hometown of Camarillo, California. Her training continued at various dance studios in Los Angeles, most importantly at Tremaine dance studio, where she took class and met Marguerite Derricks, her mentor.
Jennifer has worked with the Mike Myers, on all three Austin Powers films, The Cat in the Hat, and The Love Guru with Jessica Alba. She choreographed the newly released film Yogi Bear, Easy A, with Emma Stone and Amanda Bynes, and The Runaways, starring Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart. She recently choreographed for the television shows CSI, Bones, The Undercovers, and I’m in the Band. She was the associate choreographer on No Strings Attached with Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, on FAME the feature film, and for the opening number of the 81st Annual Academy Awards, with Hugh Jackman. She danced on Dancing with the Stars, did a run of the indie rock ballet, The Question, at the Montalban Theater, and was also featured in HBO’s hit, True Blood.
Jennifer worked on the popular Guitar Hero commercials with Kobe Bryant and Heidi Klum, and an HP commercial with Fergie. She was associate choreographer on Spiderman 3, Rush Hour 3, and Step Brothers with Will Ferrell. She choreographed indie drama Phoebe in Wonderland, with Ben Stiller on Starsky & Hutch, and on Meet the Fockers, with Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand, Little Miss Sunshine, Guess Who?, Charlie’s Angels, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. She worked with Jennifer Garner in 13 Going on 30, and Sean William Scott in American Pie III. She enjoyed dancing alongside one of her longtime favorites, Lenny Kravitz in his Lady video. Perhaps Jennifer is most proud of her accomplishments in the Showtime film A Time For Dancing, where she got the chance to co-star and dance in the film.
Some of Jennifer’s additional television credits include: Choreographer on CSI: Miami, and Your Mama Don’t Dance. She has also appeared on Eli Stone, That 70’s Show, 3rdRock From the Sun, Cedric the Entertainer Presents, and Tracey Takes On. She has worked on many television specials such as the MTV Movie Awards, VH1 Vogue Fashion Awards, Fashion Rocks, VH1 Divas, and the 2001 and 2002 Ice Challenges, where Jennifer danced with Brian Boitano as “The Girl From Impanema.” With more than a handful of commercials behind her, Jennifer has also had the opportunity of working on several stage productions, A Class Act at the Ambassador Theater on Broadway, the erotic Cirque Du Soleil show Zumanity, Finian’s Rainbow, The Rocky Horror Picture Show with David Arquette at the Tiffany Theater, and Little Shop of Horrors at the Alley Theater in Houston.
