Kristi Tartaglione (she/her) is a movement artist, educator and healing practitioner with a strong belief that dance is energy- that by moving and understanding the body on both an anatomical and energetic level, artists can fully connect to themselves and their audience.

Kristi Tartaglione (she/her) is a movement artist, educator and healing practitioner with a strong belief that dance is energy- that by moving and understanding the body on both an anatomical and energetic level, artists can fully connect to themselves and their audience.
Kristi holds certifications through Sugarfoot Therapy (a dance based PT program), Alixa Flexibility and Acrobatic Arts. As well as 200hr Yoga, 25hr Lunar Yoga, Mediation, Reiki, and Astrology Certifications. Currently holding classes in moving and healing arts through her own programming at various locations throughout the city as well as teaching regularly at Y7. Her focus on creating a safe and supportive classroom is at the forefront of her various practices. Educating on mind-body connection helps artists to find a deeper understanding of themselves and their place both through technique and creativity.
A graduate of The New School with a BA in Dance, and has studied for 10+ years in both NYC and LA with various choreographers and educators. She has had the privilege of dancing works by Rebecca Stenn, Neil Greenburg, Shirleen Quigly, Merceditas Manza Manago-Alexander, Lacina Coulibaly, Karla Wolfangle, Miri L. Park, and Evan J. Rapport. As well as showcasing her own work at The Secret Theater, Mark Morris, Tishman Theater, The Tank, NYLA, and Actors Fund Center. She currently is on staff at Broadway Dance Center Children & Teens, and Northeast Dance Project in New Jersey.
