Creative duo Missy Lay-Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard have been transforming the dance world for the past two decades with their choreography’s unique style and musicality. Together their professional credits include: Broadway/National tours of CATS as Victoria and Tumblebrutus, Jesus Christ Superstar; Anniversary Tour (Carl Anderson and Ted Neeley), Broadway’s Footloose, Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, Soap: Guiding Light, All I Want for Christmas, Mariah Carey video / co choreographer, appearing on SNL, MTV/VH1, and The Today Show.
Both are the Artistic Directors and Founders of Exhale Dance Tribe ‘25 to Watch’ by Dance Magazine. Exhale is the resident company at the Broadway Series theater in Cincinnati, the Aronoff Center for the Arts. Exhale Dance Tribe premiered at Merce Cunningham performance studios in 2012. On the horizon, the couple will be premiering work at the New Zealand Arts Festival March 2020 with their dance company Exhale Dance Tribe and Okareka Dance Company (Auckland), U.S. premiere 2021.
The duo created a full-length ballet for Cincinnati Ballet’s Infamous Love Songs with International musical genius Over The Rhine LIVE. Followed by choreographing a LIVE show with OTR and Exhale Dance Tribe for the Restoration Project (Emery Theater/Cincinnati) Requiem Project on 11-11-11.

They have been featured in publications such as New York Times, Fit Magazine 'Babes of Broadway', Dance Magazine, Dance Spirit and City Beat ‘Best of Cincinnati', Enquirer and Post. The couple was also honored with a Princess Grace Award nomination for Excellence in Choreography for their full length work for Cincinnati Ballet. Conventions: JUMP, Dance Directives, SHOCK and Access Broadway, and were Capezio ACE Choreography Award Finalists 2011/13.
