Sam Allen

Sam Allen, a LaGuardia Alumnus and graduate of the University of Southern California, is excited to be back home working as a choreographer on the musical, In The Heights.

Before he found his passion for choreography, Sam studied Hip-Hop and performed with the American Ballroom Theatre and the Harkness Youth Ballet. He has choreographed and been featured in multiple national commercials for both Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network, television shows on ABC, CBS, and PBS, and music videos for artists including Mya, Cappadonna of Wu-Tang Clan and Dina Rae.

Sam has also received various awards including Best Choreography at the United States Tournament of Dance Nationals. He loves to tell stories through creative movement and his expertise in many forms of dance have enabled him to perform, guest teach, and choreograph nationally.
